Today is that start of our campaign to Declare an A38 Road Safety Emergency<\/em><\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n We are asking all Cornwall MPs, county councillors, and town and parish councillors to Declare a Road Safety Emergency on the A38 between Saltash and Trerulefoot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n We are asking for support in getting a proposal on the table to get the notorious stretch of road bypassed with a dual carriageway – as was planned over 30 years ago. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Proposals from Highways England that have been discussed within council stakeholder groups have so far ruled out this option in the pipeline projects to be consulted on in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Follow our Facebook page to keep up with developments… Facebook Safe38<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" 1st June 2021 Today is that start of our campaign to Declare an A38 Road Safety Emergency!
